05/23/08 0000 Internet Outage, 24 hour duration
3 OC48's and several other fiber lines were cut during severe storms in the Cheyenne area resulting in a major loss of Internet and Long Distance phone services for about 24.5 hours starting at 0000 05/23/08 and lasting through 0030 05/24/08. |

WLAN Maintenance 5/29/07 Reinforced Mountain View Access Point
We reinforced the Mountain View WLAN Access Point with a 54 Mbps backhaul to negate the interference problems still being caused by BVEA. There was about 4 hours of downtime for MV wireless folks. Power Problems, 11/14/06 Many power losses, bumps, swings. Broke UPS at main office and Blacksnet 2. Large windy snow storm. |
| Power Outage, 10/10/06
There was a Valley wide power outage from 1445 - 1320 which caused us to shutdown for about 10 minutes before power was restored. No explanation. |
| Partial Outage, 08/24/06 Lyman backhaul
Our brand new backhaul and access point in Lyman was struck by lightning at 2300 on Thusday night 08/24/06 during a particularly intense lightning storm. Fortunately only four clients will be without service while we get the equipment replaced and back on the air. The system was installed and began testing on 08/21/06. |
| Service Outage 08/11/06 1815-1915 router update
Internet service was intermittently down for several router reboots as we upgraded our IDS to shutdown a hacker attack from IP Address 211.100.32.177. |
| Service Outage 01/05/08 - 01/09/08
Power outages, brownouts and surges corrupted the mail/web/DNS server. DNS (facilitates normal web surfing) was restored with a backup system after two hours. Mail and the local web site (www.blacksfork.net) was restored 01/09/08 following repair of corrupted boot disk and associated files. Kevin
